Hey, It's "Black" Monday ...Time to arm up!

The big Thanksgiving sales are all about done...isn't it time to think of some things for the stocking that go boom when you pull the trigger!?

Here are some ideas for the stuff you need so when the "Rodeo" get's started you aren't left with a pocket knife and one MRE to do battle with the Forces of Evil

Let's talk "Primary Battery". That would be your trio of primary weapons. Semi-auto Rifle, 12 gauge shot gun, and a semi-auto hand gun.

Here are some basics to be found on sale at Sports'man's Warehouse RIGHT NOW! Ask for Dave Ball.  (970) 461-5001 A word of caution here, the items listed have been on sale over this past weekend. They may or may not still be available. Go on down and take a look! The prices are about as good as you'll ever see on these items.

These are priced about as low as your going to find them any where:

A Bushmaster .223 Carbon 15 Special ( M-4 varient) with a collapsable stock, a 30 round magazine, and a Bushnell 1x25 Red Dot optic, soft case and sling All for $599 ! Was $699 +.
This type of weapon usually starts selling at $1,000.

For those who want something a little heavier in caliber and reach try the DPMS Magpul LR-308 with a flat top reciever (scope ready) with a 20 round mag in .308 cal. Regularly $1,299 now only $999.00!

For the 12 ga shot gun the old reliable Remington 870 Express home defense shotgun, 3" chamber with a 18" barrel and a black synthetic stock and fore end. was $299 now $229. A great deal!

And last, but not least, a SIG Sauer P 250 compact semi auto hand gun in 9 MM, ( other calibers available for slightly more) was $499 now only $399!
Then don't forget, Every gun is a hungry rascal, so you need a few things to feed it - ammo and clips or magazines, and things to protect your eyes and ears with.

Now for you guys that are a little more experienced or want to become such, I recommend going to Jensen Arms, in Loveland and saying hi to Bob Jensen, or Jeff or Mike or any of the guys there that can help educate you and find the best gun to fit your needs. Lots of those "Black Guns" we've talked about and Class III weapons, Short Barreled Rifles, Machine guns and suppressors - all at good prices and an ATF Tax Stamp, of course. Good buys on ammo and other gear too.(970) 663-5994

In addition , when you "jam up the works", one of these days out at the range or you need some great gun- smithing  on a custom set up, you'll need the services of a great gunsmith for regular guns and Class III weapons - That would be Mr. Bob Ford at Rocky Mountain Arms in Longmont. (303) 678-8522.

Now, be so kind as to tell the boys at either store and Bob at Rocky Mountain Arms ,that Mike McNulty at
http://tacticaltopractical.blogspot.com told you about their store and sale.

If your just getting started, these are great places and great people. If you are ahead of the knowledge game it's still "Ditto" for the places sited. Let's get going, those prices aren't good forever!

Coming up next at Tactical to Practical.... "What is all this other stuff and what's "Web Gear" and why do I need it?
